Instead of sensationalizing blight, “Lemonade: Detroit” focused its lens on the disarming resilience of a city in search of an identity beyond a single industry, as told through the intensely personal stories of people who are actively reinventing the Motor City.
I was the director of this film.
I spent a year living in and filming the town of State College, PA exploring the aftermath of the Jerry Sandusky child abuse scandal. I was the film’s director and editor.
ProtectHer began with the thesis that to protect women on college campuses from sexual assault, it required an all-hands-on-deck approach led by the male athletes on those campuses. I edited the four-part film series, made up of a feature length documentary and three short companion pieces. The feature premiered at Carmel International Film Festival and was was acquired by Amazon Prime.
